Students will complete the didactic distributive, virtual instructor led and asynchronous online portions for the lectures and will be coming to the school for your in-person Skills Labs preparing you for the Massachusetts State Practical Exam.  This format and program have been extremely extraordinarily successful with repeated 100% Passing their MA State Practical Exam.

EMS Academy’s Hybrid EMT Courses are designed for all students who want to add to and achieve their career paths and receive an EMT certification. This EMT course prepares students to take the Massachusetts psychomotor examination and the National Registry of EMTs written examination. Students will complete the didactic aspect of the program via distributive online program and then transition to in-person Skills Labs at our Marshfield or Cambridge College location for hands on practical skills training.

In keeping with the updated guidance from Governor Baker in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, EMS Academy is an approved Essential Business and just the same as all Essential Businesses, there are safety procedures we have in place for the safety of you, the customer, our Instructors, Teaching Assistants, Faculty and all who may come to EMS Academy.

As these EMT Courses are Hybrid, all didactic content shall be delivered using distributive, or virtual instructor led methods, to decrease the time students are in contact with others.  When we do our Skills Labs throughout the course, we will be in-person for our Skills Lab Sessions!

I have empathy for all of you as I know this has been an extremely challenging time for all of us.  We will continue to do what is right, with best practices for the safety of all.  Thank you for your patience.

NOTE:  COVID-19 Update:

Due to the uncertainty regarding the rapidly changing status of COVID-19 and the State mandates, all EMT Course dates are subject to change due to COVID-19.  Currently, these EMT Courses are on schedule to be held, however, we are giving projected start and end dates for all classes due to the uncertainty of COVID and the fluid changes made frequently by the State.  All students will be kept up to date with any changes as we are notified.
